Upon arrival at our guesthouse in the village of Merzouga for the best overnight camel trekking of 1 night, you can expect secured parking for your vehicle and can gather the essentials for a night spent in the desert.
Our overnight camel trek in Merzouga will begin late in the afternoon, about two hours prior to sunset, leading you directly into the heart of the desert dunes.
As the sun starts its descent, casting a warm glow across the vast landscape, the trek unfolds, creating an atmosphere of anticipation for the mesmerizing spectacle that awaits.
During the trek, which lasts approximately an hour and a half, you will witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets Morocco has to offer.
If interested in sandboarding:
Feel free to try it out during the trek and pause in the middle of the Sahara to admire the landscapes and take photographs.
On return to the camp, where the flickering flames of a desert campfire light up the night, enjoy a glass of mint tea and an authentic desert evening complete with traditional cuisine, lively music, and spacious shelters to accommodate everyone.
The following morning, as the first light of dawn paints the dunes in hues of gold and pink, we advise rising before the sun fully sets to witness a magnificent sunrise across the dunes.
