8-DAY MOROCCO TOUR FROM MARRAKECH

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After picking you up from your lodging in the morning, our corporate driver will take you out of Marrakech and into Dades Gorge. crossing the Tizi-in-Tichka pass (2260 m) to reach the high Atlas Mountain range, stopping along the route for breathtaking views and once-in-a-lifetime photographs of Berber towns and their breathtaking surroundings.

By the afternoon, we will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO-protected world heritage site and the setting for several international motion pictures, such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. It is among the most well-known and significant locations in Morocco.

After lunch at one of the local restaurants in the Kasbah, we go to Ouarzazate to see the Atlas Film studio. This is the location of many famous movies, such as Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Asterix & Obelix, Mission Cleopatra, etc. Wander around the Kasbah of Taourirt, Morocco’s most impressive fortress, for a short while.

Then, to reach the Dades Gorges, we follow a route that passes through the Skoura Valley, often referred to as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs and Roses Valley, which is well-known for its rose water and artisanal distillation facilities. Day 2: Arfod – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) – Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges:

After breakfast in the morning, you will have time to explore the breathtaking Dades Valley before we continue our drive to the Sahara Desert. We’ll pass through the lush Dades Valley, which is home to many palm trees and farmers. The first destination in Tinghir will be the well-known Toudgha Gorges, which are situated around 300 meters above the earth.

Rock climbers consider it to be a popular spot, and Moroccan families enjoy picnics by the river there. You will have time to take some photographs and wander along the canal before we continue on our tour. The pit stop will be at Tinjdad for lunch. After that, you may investigate the underground irrigation system as we go to Jorf Settlement.

Next, to Arfod, a fossil-rich city. After that, we’re going to the Merzouga Desert. The Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the highest in North Africa, are a sight to see as you travel along. Their abrupt emergence from the parched bottom never ceases to amaze you. Once in the desert, you will ride your camel across the towering Erg-Chebbi dunes.

You will be able to see an amazing sunset atop a large dune. You’ll have time to watch the sunset and snap some photos before you go to the desert tent. You can listen to local nomads perform Berber music outside under a brilliant sky after a delicious meal. There will be an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: Today you will Be Experiencing the Desert and Its Environment.

Our trip today will focus on the Erg Chebbi, the biggest dune formation in Morocco’s desert. After breakfast, we’ll go to Khamlia village to see a dance performance and listen to traditional African music known as Gnawa.

Following that, we’ll go toward the village over the hamada, or black desert, and camp in tents with Berber nomad families. in addition to having tea together. Discover further saltwater fossils encased in dry rock by venturing farther into the desert. Next, get back to your lodging.

After unwinding at the hotel, you will mount your camel and ride it over the towering Erg-Chebbi dunes. You will be able to see an amazing sunset atop a large dune. You’ll have time to snap photos and savor the sunset before arriving at the desert camp. Local nomads will serenade you with Berber music under the starry sky after a delicious supper. Day 4: Fes Medina, Ifrane, Cedar Forest, Rissani Market, Merzouga, and Midelt

Today is the perfect day to wake up early and take in the beauty of the desert dawn. After breakfast, you will mount up and ride your camel back to Merzouga. There our driver will pick you up and take you to Fes. The first stop will be the Rissani market, where residents may buy and sell fruit, cattle, and traditional clothing.

Here, you will have the chance to explore the area. Next on our itinerary is a visit to Erfoud, a town renowned for its petrified marbles. We’ll make a stop at the cooperative fossils before heading to Ziz Valley, where we’ll pause to take photographs of its expansive vistas. Midelt is going to have lunch promptly.

Later, we’ll go on to Azrou to take pictures of the wild monkeys that inhabit the Cedarwoods forest. journey from Ifrane (the Moroccan Switzerland) to Fes. Our driver will deliver you to your Fes Medina lodging.

Day 5: Full Day Discovering Fes Medina With A Local Guide.

Here, you will explore the impressive partly excavated mosaics, monuments, arches, and columns while snapping pictures with a local guide.

The second destination is Meknes, where you can explore the charming medina and marvel at its magnificent doors, such as Bab Mansour, a huge gate mosaic tile, and the enormous Heri es-Souani, a complex that was formerly home to food stores and stables. Next, visit the mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Isma.

Then, after the Caliph’s death, we will visit Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to view the Hassan Mosque and Tower, which were constructed in the twelfth century but left incomplete. When you visit the mausoleums of Hassan II (who passed away in 1999) and Mohammed V (who passed away in 1961), you will be enamored by the exquisite Moroccan carvings and Zelig tilework.
