10-DAY MOROCCO TOUR ITINERARY FROM FES

Day 1: We get to Fes.

When you get to Fes, our guide will meet you at the airport and take you to a hotel in the medina, which is the historical center of the city. Depending on what time you get there, you might be able to see some of Fes. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 2: Getting to Know Fes

Leave for a full day of exploring Fes after breakfast for your Second day of 10-DAY MOROCCO TOUR ITINERARY FROM FES. See ancient places like the tomb of Moulay Idriss, the Nejjarine Fountains, the Tanneries, the Royal Palace, and “the Mellah,” the Jewish neighborhood. Take a short trip to a pottery and take in the view of the Medina from above. Stay the night at your riad.

Day 3: Fes to Azrou to Midelt to the Ziz Valley to the Merzouga Desert

You should leave Fes for Merzouga after breakfast. Stop at the Cedar Forest and have lunch in Midelt to get a glimpse of the Middle and Higher Atlas mountains. As you go further, you will see Er Rachidia, the Ziz Valley, and the Tafilalet date palm field. Get to Merzouga in the late afternoon. Stay the night in a riad.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert: camel ride and overnight stay in a Berber tent

Visit the Gnawa people and the lake of Merzouga as you look around the area. A trip to the souk in Rissani in the afternoon. Take a camel ride with an experienced camel man in the late afternoon to the desert camp. Dinner and the night will be spent in a Berber tent with bathrooms that look like those in the West.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert, Todra Gorges, and Dades Gorges

To see the sunrise, people ride camels back to Merzouga early in the morning. Leave for the Todra valleys, which are the highest valleys in Morocco, after breakfast. Drive through the Dades Valley after lunch. This area is famous for its sand buildings and rock shapes. Spend the night in a hotel with a view of the Dades Valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley, Rose Valley, and Ouarzazate.

The Dades Valley is where you’ll find Kalaat Mgouna, also known as “the rose city.” Keep going to Ouarzazate by going through the Rose Valley and stopping at the Amridil Kasbah. Stay the night in Ouarzazate.

Day 7: Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and back to Marrakech.

The Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that you should see after breakfast. Go through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to get to Marrakech. Take in the beautiful views and stop to take pictures of the scenery. When you get to Marrakech, you can check into your riad in the Medina. Stay the night in Marrakech.

Days 8: Free day in Marrakech

Have a day off in Marrakech. Check out the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Ben Youssef Coranic School, among other historical and cultural places. Explore the narrow streets of the Medina and stop by Jamaa El Fna Square. Entertainment in the square in the evening is optional. Stay the night in your riad.

Day 9: Trip to Essaouira for the day

Visit the city of Essaouira for the day after breakfast for your 9 day of 10-DAY MOROCCO TOUR ITINERARY FROM FES. Visit the beach, the medina, and the shops that sell handmade goods. You should go see the Argan Oil Women’s Union. We will go back to Marrakech in the evening. Stay the night at your riad.

Day 10: Marrakech to the airport
