Itinerary:

The best 4-Day Desert tour from Fes

Day 1: Fes to Azrou to Midelt to the Ziz Valley to the Merzouga Desert

You should leave Fes for Merzouga after breakfast. Stop at the Cedar Forest and have lunch in Midelt to get a glimpse of the Middle and Higher Atlas mountains.

As you go further, you will see Er Rachidia, the Ziz Valley, and the Tafilalet date palm field. Get to Merzouga in the late afternoon. Stay the night in a riad.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert: camel ride and overnight stay in a Berber tent

Visit the Gnawa people and the lake of Merzouga as you look around the area. A trip to the souk in Rissani in the afternoon. Take a camel ride with an experienced camel man in the late afternoon to the desert camp. Dinner and the night will be spent in a Berber tent with bathrooms that look like those in the West.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert, Todra Gorges, and Dades Gorges

To see the sunrise, people ride camels back to Merzouga early in the morning. Leave for the Todra valleys, which are the highest valleys in Morocco, after breakfast.

Drive through the Dades Valley after lunch. This area is famous for its sand buildings and rock shapes. Spend the night in a hotel with a view of the Dades Valley.

Day 4: Travel from Dades Valley to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and then continue to Marrakech.

After breakfast, our path takes us to Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate through the beautiful Dades Valley. Through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, there are many chances to take pictures that will hold special memories of the trip.

The day is made better by meeting Berber Nomads, seeing the beautiful Rose Valley, and seeing amazing rock formations. Stops at Kalaat M’gouna, Rose City, and Kasbah Ameridil further enhance the trip’s ethnic diversity.
